I haven't updated in the longest time. I'm at work, feeling good, listening to Madonna's new song, "Hung Up"--Love Her! The thing about our job, no one really looks over you, you manage your own time and make sure you meet the deadlines. I ran into this guy the other day at our cafeteria. He worked with me at the Olympics. It brought back a whole lot of memories!! We're probably going to meet up next week. I also went to Ottawa last weekend with my friend Rishie and his cousin. We rented a car and took off for Friday morning. I love road trips, we listened to my "Black Eyed Peas" most of the way. My fav track being "My Humps"!! I think I got the song memorized by now! So, my friend Kristin who I traveled with in Europe is going to Ottawa U for Law. Rishie's cousin also lives in Ottawa and is in Pharmaceutical Sales...we kept bugging him to give us, "Tami-Flu"..lol. I met a bunch of wannabe lawyers, some who are graduating this year. All the girls that I met are not the typical lawyers that I imagined being. They actually have a social life! The night started by going to this girls house, she lives with two gay guys who spent most of the night serving us Martini's and telling us how they met their boyfriends--"In the shower" one of them tells us!!. So we went around and told our most embarrassing moment...I couldn't find one for the life of me. So the most recent embarrassing moment I had was at work. My pants ripped open in the back and my white underwear was showing. Thank Goodness, I work with girls that are prepared! I had a coworker sew my pants while I waited in the stall. The night ended with more drinks at this local club, nothing like Toronto. But a good crowd to say the least. The next day, Kristin and I decided to see the Parliament and take a tour. One word. Impressed.
All in all, my weekend ended up being a great remedy for me. Sometimes u need to get away even for a short period of time. I miss you girls though, what's going on this weekend??
